Where to stay
There’s plenty of accommodation nearby but it’s mostly smaller hotels and B&Bs, so we’d recommend booking your accommodation sooner rather than later, especially if you want to stay with friends or family.

Lovely old pub with rooms serving great breakfast. We stayed here on our first visit to Mello View and it was wonderful.
The Crooked Swan

A Georgian pub with rooms. The wedding party have most of the rooms here, but a few should available.
The Cotley Inn
Chard (17 mins)
Another lovely restaurant-room combo, just beyond the wedding venue further south west.

Very beautiful restaurant with rooms—we celebrated our 11 year anniversary here.

Bell tents
We have arranged a number of glamping tents at the wedding site primarily for the wedding party and some friends. These are fully kitted out and are available the night of the wedding. We have already contacted those who we think we would be interested and will be in touch separately with the details on these. If you are interested let us know and we will try to make space.
